Welcome


My name is Amy DeFew. I have been with Re/Max DreamWorld Properties since June of 2002. I opened the office and set it up for business as the office manager. After working the management department of real estate I was knowledgeable and comfortable with the industry. I was confindent I could continue my education and obtain my license. I completed my classes six months later and licensed in January of 2004. I began working as a licensed Realtor in March of 2004 and business is booming!

I strongly believe that "home is where the heart is"! I am the wife of Matt DeFew. A good man makes a good woman and I married the best. We have four children. Our oldest son, James Gabriel (age 10) is the typical little boy that loves life and everyone he meets. His school nurse told me recently that he was a "motor mouth". I laughed and recalled my third grade teacher telling my father the very same thing. Our daughter, Ella Elizabeth, was born in October 2004. Now 6, she is beautiful, busy and full of life. Our 3rd child is Isaac, born on July 7, 2007. What a lucky baby and the one of the greatest surprises of our lives. And why stop with three? Our 4th child, a son, John Silas was born on Mother's Day of 2010. We are a very blessed family.

I believe in strong family ties and I love "finding families homes". I know how fast our lives can change. I chose this profession because there is no greater blessing than finding the perfect home for a great family.

I am a 1996 graduate of Caldwell County High School in Princeton, KY. I attended Western KY University and Paducah Community College.
